3) The Brewer's Cup is open to brewery professionals only. See rules below.

4) The cars must fit on the track and be able to start without assistance. See track specifications below.

 

RACE CLASS

Trophy to be awarded to fastest car

Maximum weight: 12 ounces

Maximum width: 4.5 inches (beware: the lanes are only 4.625 inches wide)

Maximum length: 14 inches

All cars must have four wheels in the normal pattern

Cars must be made using at least one recognizable beer can. Cutting and shaping is allowed, stomping on it and taping it to your car is not.

Drilling, holes, welding, add-ons, etc. are legal

The event scale is correct; please refer to rule number one

No propulsion or starting mechanism of any kind will be allowed

Each contestant may race only one car

Each car may be raced by one contestant only

 

SHOW CLASS

Trophy to be awarded to best-looking car overall

No weight or size limit

Show cars do not have to race

The crazier, the better

Each contestant may show only one car

Each car may be shown by one contestant only

 

BREWER'S CUP

Trophy to be awarded to fastest brewery

Weight limit: 16 ounces

Normal rules apply

Lane Divider Height: 0.75 inches

Overall Track Length: ±60 feet

Overall Track Width: 11.5 inches

Starting Gate: centred wooden dowel, 1.5 inches tall
